Wii Fit

Finally have time (been busy you know) to play with the Wii Fit. I like it a lot. Mostly for the balance games, but I can see how the yoga would work on posture and there's some strength exercises and even running, but it is fun and even Rick likes it although we're both really frustrated by this one 'river rapids' game you have to navigate without hitting a cliff. I could see getting a snowboard/surfing game down the line.

Anyway, I hope the baby likes hoola hoop. It's what I'm best at. That and ski jumping. Duh.

I'll also have to check my balance in few months. It will be interesting. It also says I'm overweight. And I put in a goal of gaining more. Joke's on it!

Resolutions

1. Floss and use the electric toothbrush daily
2. Eat less sweets. Therefore, More vegetables (for the kids sake)
2a. Learn how to cook
3. Lose the baby weight and then some

Goals
* Take a knitting class - not really a resolution just something i've been trying to do for years
* Create a home, which means moving.
* Get a job?

16 Weeks

16 week check up today. In and out in 15 minutes. Answered a few questions, listened to the heartbeat, and that was it. Suggested I take a baby care class. I should think of more questions, but nothing comes up. Oh well. All is fine. My BP was 110/50. My chart shows I've gained 10 pounds since 12/2 (last appt) but I know she wrote it down wrong. Stupid nurse. I've gained 8 since day 0. Whatever.

Baby Vic

We had our first ultrasound yesterday at 13 weeks, 2 days. I'm glad it was late as much as I wanted one weeks ago. It only took about 5 minutes but was super cool. For not feeling or looking pregnant whatsoever, it was the first real confirmation that it is in there and thriving apparently. Our tech found all the limbs and a big heart and all that. Heart beat was 154. 120-160 is the normal range. He was moving a lot when she put it on 3d. I think he looks like a bear/monkey but he really just needs some fat on him! It was very cool and we were both very giddy and proud. I don't know if we'll find out the sex, but probably will, who knows, that is still 6+ weeks away. We're not really telling anyone yet, just my family and Ricks dad so far. And then, whoever my big mouth family tells. I'm waiting until I show or later. I am over my tirednesss for the most part and staying up until a normal hour. No cravings or nausea. I don't even miss diet coke (just sometimes). I would like a turkey sandwich on toast though...
